A salt of polyphosphoric acid and ammonia, which has various names depending on the company but can be generalized as Ammonium Polyphosphate 484 (APP 484). It has low water solubility and its largest use is as a highly efficient flame retardant. It can also be used as an emulsifier and fertilizer. Used as a flame retardant in paint and coatings and in a variety of polymers -- polyolefins and polypropylene, where APP is part of intumescent systems. Also used in thermosets where APP is used in unsaturated polyesters and gel coats, epoxies, and polyurethane castings (intumescent systems). Also applied to flame retard polyurethane foams.

Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is a tri-functional alcohol with a wide spectrum of applications in the chemical industry, e.g. for the synthesis of alkyd and polyester resins, synthetic lubricants, PU-foams, and lacquers or glues and adhesives. TMP is also used for the production of dyestuffs, pigments, paints, and silicone products. A chemical compound synthesized from the two-step reaction of butanol and formaldehyde and their product's synthesis with sodium hydroxide, is used to create Ethoxylated and propoxylated Trimethylolpropane (TMP) for the production of polyurethanes. TMP's largest use is as a precursor in the production of alkyd resins which produce coatings, followed by the production of allyl ethers for the production of high-gloss coatings and ion exchange resins. Applications include: Alkyd, polyester, and polyurethane synthesis; Crosslinking of coatings, adhesives and printing inks; TiO2 pigment dispersions; and Synthesis of rad-cure monomers.

2-Ethylhexyl acrylate (HA) is the ester of acrylic acid and 2-ethyl hexanol. It is used as a raw material to make adhesives, coatings, construction materials, acrylic rubber, lubricants, and emulsions.
CAS#: 107-96-0
3-Mercaptopropionic acid and its derivatives are main materials for the synthesis of PVC-stabilizers and are used as chain transfer and cross-linking agents in polymerizations. These compounds are also useful as ion exchange catalysts, coupling agents, and in lubricants and UV-curable formulations. 3-Mercaptopropionic acid is a clear, near water-white liquid with strong odor used as a basic material in the production of PVC stabilizers.

AC-16101-M1 is a low-foaming blend of long-chain organic dimer acids, neutralizable with amines or hydroxides for water-miscible or water-soluble corrosion inhibitors. It integrates easily into concentrates and is suited for water-miscible coolants, grinding fluids, and cleaners at a 5–15 wt.% treat rate. Designed to meet market standards, a 20 wt.% blend with TEA, MEA, and demineralized water passes the DIN 51 360-2 corrosion test at 2% concentration in 360 ppm hard water.
