Maleic Anhydride - MAN, Briquette

CAS#: 108-31-6

Industrial Cleaning

The acid anhydride of Maleic Acid synthesized from the oxidation of benzene or butane, is used to produce 1,4-butandiol (BDO) and unsaturated polyester resins (UPR). Maleic Anhydride (MA) is used to make UPR which is used for the production of plastics.

Maleic Anhydride - MAN, Molten

CAS#: 108-31-6

Industrial Cleaning

The acid anhydride of Maleic Acid synthesized from the oxidation of benzene or butane, is used to produce 1,4-butandiol (BDO) and unsaturated polyester resins (UPR). Maleic Anhydride (MA) is used to make UPR which is used for the production of plastics.

Maleic Anhydride - MAN, Pastilles

CAS#: 108-31-6

Industrial Cleaning

The acid anhydride of Maleic Acid synthesized from the oxidation of benzene or butane, is used to produce 1,4-butandiol (BDO) and unsaturated polyester resins (UPR). Maleic Anhydride (MA) is used to make UPR which is used for the production of plastics.

Methacrylic Acid - MAA | Glacial GMAA

CAS#: 79-41-4

Industrial Cleaning

Most methacrylic acid is used as an intermediate in the production of methacrylic acid esters, especially ethyl and higher methacrylates. These in turn are used as co-monomers to produce a variety of plastic products. MAA can also be used as a comonomer that adds functional properties to latex paint, adhesive, and textile formulations, as well as in reactive adhesives in which methacrylic acid monomer reacts to cure the adhesive, and in solid coatings and specialty polymers.

Monomer

Pentaerythritol - Penta Supreme 99 - Micronized

CAS#: 115-77-5

Industrial Cleaning

Penta is a tetrafunctional compound of primary hydroxyl groups. The compact structure and the high density of hydroxyl groups provide outstanding properties. Pentaerythritol is an organic compound with the formula C(CH2OH)4. Classified as a polyol, it is a white solid. Pentaerythritol is a versatile building block for the preparation of many polyfunctionalized compounds. Derivatives of pentaerythritol are components of alkyd resins, varnishes, polyvinyl chloride stabilizers, tall oil esters, and olefin antioxidants. It can be found in transformer oil, plastics, paints, cosmetics, and many other applications.

Alcohol

Trimethylolpropane - TMP

CAS#: 77-99-6

Industrial Cleaning

Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is a tri-functional alcohol with a wide spectrum of applications in the chemical industry, e.g. for the synthesis of alkyd and polyester resins, synthetic lubricants, PU-foams, and lacquers or glues and adhesives. TMP is also used for the production of dyestuffs, pigments, paints, and silicone products. A chemical compound synthesized from the two-step reaction of butanol and formaldehyde and their product's synthesis with sodium hydroxide, is used to create Ethoxylated and propoxylated Trimethylolpropane (TMP) for the production of polyurethanes. TMP's largest use is as a precursor in the production of alkyd resins which produce coatings, followed by the production of allyl ethers for the production of high-gloss coatings and ion exchange resins. Applications include: Alkyd, polyester, and polyurethane synthesis; Crosslinking of coatings, adhesives and printing inks; TiO2 pigment dispersions; and Synthesis of rad-cure monomers.

Alcohol

1,3 Dioxolane

CAS#: 646-06-0

Industrial Cleaning

1,3 Dioxolane, often referred to simply as Dioxolane, is a powerful solvent used in a variety of formulations, production processes, or as a reactant. It comes in a color-free liquid form, with an odor reminiscent of Ether. It's able to quickly dissolve polar polymers like epoxies, polyesters, and urethanes, since its small size allows for rapid penetration. The solvent's low boiling point of 75-76 C allows it to dry quickly. 1,3 Dioxolane gets used as an intermediary in preparing Acyclovir-d4 and in synthesizing new Vandetanib (V097100) analogs. It’s a popular solvent for fats, oils, dyes, and waxes. The chemical is also used in lithium batteries. Other popular applications for the solvent include textiles, electroplating and metal working, the gas scrubbing process, softening and/or dissolving polymers, inorganic and organometallic systems, and petroleum and gasoline production. 1,3 Dioxolane is soluble in Dichloromethane, Chloroform, Methanol, Ethanol, and Ethyl Acetate. 1,3 Dioxolane price can vary.

4-Methoxy Acetophenone (4-MAP)

CAS#: 100-06-1

Industrial Cleaning

4-Methoxy Acetophenone 4-MAP is an aromatic chemical with a sweet odor. This product is used as a fragrance, a flavoring agent, a pharmaceutical additive, an ingredient in resins and as an intermediate for cosmetic additives.
